Our story

Centerpoint Church started in 2014 with a group of believers who wanted to do things differently to find a way to connect people with Jesus in a way that would be relevant and authentic. This small group of Christ followers wanted to put Jesus at the center of our lives and so, “Centerpoint Church” was born! A place where we make disciples (Christ followers) where Christ is at the center.

Centerpoint Church has always been seeking to be at the leading edge of reaching our community with an authentic message in contemporary ways. To this end, we made several large faith steps, most notably seeking to expand our day camp ministry to include inservice days, birthday parties, and so much more! Our footprint in the community through our Discovery Day Camp ministry is very large with several thousand people impacted every year. Our church has sought to create a celebratory atmosphere on Sunday mornings with contemporary worship music and programs for all ages. We especially focus upon reaching families with children in the home, making Centerpoint Church a fun place to be and a great place to learn about God and His love for us!

We believe that we have just gotten started! Centerpoint Church looks to the future with enthusiasm, optimism, and great expectation. The entrepreneurial spirit that pervades our church family allows for exciting and new endeavours to be undertaken. From upgrading our existing ministries, to reaching into new ones, we at Centerpoint Church believe that our future with Jesus is bright indeed! We want to reach all of Winnipeg for Christ! There is so much to do!
